Rate my receipt FAQs
Which receipts count?
Any grocery, supermarket or pharmacy receipt from the last 14 days. Take a photo of the whole receipt. If it's long, you can use up to three photos of the same receipt.
How many points do I get?
At least 100 points (one heart) for each receipt that passes a quick check. Your first rated receipt also earns a one-time 100-point bonus, and after that you earn a bonus whenever a basket beats your usual score.
Is there a limit?
A small number of receipts each day earn points. The app shows you the limit. You can still snap more; they get a score and count towards your usual score, they just don't earn base points that day.
How is my basket scored?
Out of 100, from four measures: how much fresh fruit and veg you bought (and how many kinds), how much of your food spend was ultra-processed, how many 'sometimes' foods were in the basket, and how many of the five food groups it covers. Health products from our catalogue give your score a small boost.
How long does a score take?
We check every item on the receipt, so your score arrives a little later. The app lets you know when it's ready. Your 100 points are added after the quick check.
What do you do with my receipt?
We read the store, date, items and totals to score your basket and award points. Your score is private to you. It's general information about your shopping, not medical or dietary advice.
Do members earn more?
Yes. Member earns 2× and Member Plus 3× on receipt bonuses and product points, the 8,000-step daily target and treatment receipts. The 100 points for uploading a receipt are the same on every plan.
